Do you want to know about Google’s new ranking signal that will affect your SEO in 2021? Well, Google has recently named three user experience metrics to become new search ranking factors. The metrics are designed to measure interactivity, loading speed and visual stability, and are known as Core Web Vitals. It consists of mainly three metrics: Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay and Cumulative Layout Shift.
Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) which deals with the loading speed of the largest single object on the page. First Input Delay (FID), which means the reaction time of the page to the first user input after (whether they click, tap, or press any keys). Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), this is the measure of how much the content of the page jumps while loading content, mostly visual content, after opening.
